Haha! Dit gaat diep hoor. Over een tijdje gaan de houten Daytona's er ook uit. Dit is wat ik met een houten Daytona USA doe:

Ja, dat is een eigen foto. Ja, die heb ik met blote handen in elkaar staan trappen. De parts hebben een goed huis gekregen. Het hout is gecremeerd ;)
 
ik heb hier ook een kast waar video op staat en eentje met een ander universeel uiterlijk, leuk maar ik heb liever de originele kast, die zijn zoveel mooier

de SCI geeft licht ( de rode lampen aan de zijkant ) als je achter de crimineel aangaat, helemaal geweldig

Haha! Op een gegeven moment kun je niet anders meer. Dit waren trouwens Limited Edition Daytona USA kasten. De LELIJKSTE kasten die je ooit hebt gezien, non-working. 100 miljoen miljard kilo per stuk. Gewoon teveel moeite om ermee te gaan lopen leuren. Kost meer geld dan het oplevert. En het werkt best therapeutisch om zo'n houten kreng in elkaar te rossen :D
 
't kriebelt mij ook om een universele woodie eens kennis te laten maken met m'n voetjes en handjes.

First of all, sorry if I speak English, because I'm French, and my dutch is so poor :mrgreen:

I'm a well known member on french Neogeofans.com board and the french version Shump.com.

I'm a arcade fan for 20+ years, and specialized in shoot them up, even more specialized in Cave game, my goal is never to 1CC a game but to score it as high as possible. I do own 3 western records on Last Resort, Viewpoint and Mushihimesama 1.5 Original. (you can check on shumps.com) :D

I recently bought the VLX Hori premium stick from Ken, and so I decided to register myself here, even thou the chance for me to understand the topic are pretty low :lol:

My gaming room is with those big babies:

2 New net city
1 Capcom cute
2 Home made bartop
1 xbox 360 home made cab (the one I play the most on it) :roll:

So far how it looks like:

I will come by to the event in zoetmeer on Saturday, hoping to find some shump there, but i'm not against to play some other stuff, which I probably will be very bad :mrgreen:

It's pretty impressive that you hold the western record for mushihimesama futari, we certainly have some people
who are into cave shmups (me included). My two first cave kits have just arrived ( death smiles and espgaluda 2)
The gameroom looks really nice.

I think you have come to the right place.
Nice of you to attend the new years meeting on saturday, hope we get the chance to talk in person

Welcome to the forum man! L'hardcore est arrivee. Your set up looks very cool indeed :)

We have a Futari 1.5 running in the arcade, so please let us see how the game should be played if you can make on Saturday!

I have western record on Mushihimesama MATSURI, wich is the first Mushihimesama but in it's 1.5 version (extremely rare on PCB, but released last year on xbox 360 as Mushihimesama HD), but speaking of the Futari, I also own a fairly high score on it on Maniac mode 1.5, currently #10 on xbox 360 leaderboard (jap included), but not the western (GUS is the player who has the record)

I can bring some Cave PCB if you like, I have Dodonpachi Saidaioujou, which is fairly rare

I'd be happy to play on the Maniac of Futari thou, it's been a while i didn't play, it's time for some little training again :mrgreen:

We have all the Cave shmups on the 360, but if you could bring some PCB's that would be awesome! Especially Saidaioujou of course...
 
ahah ! To be fair, I'm only good at games I already know, and I don't know all shumps, far from it :mrgreen:
 
Welcome and very impressive! I love Cave games, but I don't think I'll ever be good at playing them. Please bring Dodonpachi Saidaioujou, I'd love to finally play that game.
 
Please tell me that i can buy dodonpachi saidaioujou! Full kit
I mean it, i will bring a shitload of money :D

Playing it for the first time will be a good second :D
 
We also have Saidaioujou running on the 40 inch vertical Xbox 360 set up guys! :) would be very cool to have them running next to each other.
 
I'm happy to bring the PCB of Saidaioujou no problem, just to let you know, the PCB is a lot faster than the 360 port ! (which means harder)

it's my favorite Cave game I think, alongside of Futari :D
