Bij deze zou ik me even voorstellen.
Mijn naam is Nick en ik game en verzamel al vele jaren.
Ik verzamel vooral 3d platformers het laatste jaar ook steeds meer shmups
Via de shmups ben ik ook op dit forum uitgekomen, had me alleen nog steeds niet voor gesteld.
mocht je dus nog wat kwijt willen stuur dan vooral een pm wat je eventueel in de aanbieding hebt.

My name is Philipp, I am 29 years old and I will move to Groningen sometime very soon to study!
So I am looking for retro game buddies here to meet with in Groningen! Would love to have some friends who share my interests. I am into Japanese games from the early eighties to the present. Arcade, console, handheld, everything! Fighting games, Shooting games and anything else I like.
waiwainl mentioned there were many of "us" in Groningen, I hope this is true and that all these nice fellas read this and want to get in touch with me

I don't know if there are any arcade left in Groningen, but don't count on it...arcades have died out almost completely in the Netherlands and most places you can call an arcade are private collections, like the one run by a couple of Nozomi members (see topic: http://www.nozomi.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6070&start=125 and http://www.nozomi.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6094), which is used for meetings a couple of time a year.

Oh cool. Will be there for sure one day. Really hope I find some mates in Groningen, nobody has replied yet 
Also I know there are some strong fighting game players and notable tournaments in Holland, where can I find the Dutch fighting game community on the internet? I suppose Nozomi is rather for retro and arcade gaming in general, right?!

I'm afraid there isn't much of a fightinggame 'scene' left in the Netherlands.

Hallo mensen!
Anime en Games fan hier uit het noorden van ons landje.
Ik ben sinds een jaar of zo behoorlijk met shmups bezig, voornamelijk Crimson Clover, Gundemonium en nog een paar PC games. Ontzettend vermakelijk en na lang hier zitten spieken naar verzamelingen en zo toch besloten om mij te registreren. Mijn favo genres zijn dan ook Shmups en Visual Novels, soms wat JRPG's. Ik ben wel echt een PC gamer en heb niet bijzonder veel met consoles omdat ik denk dat ik daar teveel aan uit ga geven
En zo komt mijn anime collectie niet meer aan de beurt.
Over wat mogelijke upgrades heb ik wat vraagjes die ik nog even elders hier ga posten.
